Growing up in the valley has made her see our mission first-hand and her larger cycling network will help our growing organization move in new and exciting directions.  We are excited to welcome her back to the Vail Valley.”With goals of growing to even more locations in the next few years, Christa’s expertise will give direction and stability. Said Christa Ghent:  “This organization really hits home for me because cycling changed my life. After multiple knee surgeries from a ski racing career, I made the switch to cycling about four years ago. That switch changed my life. I joined a collegiate team with a focus on development, and that lead to multiple national championships. It also led to my first internship and proceeding job at a cycling friendly company. Since leaving the valley, I have had the perspective to see how valuable this program is in our community. I look forward to showing other young girls how cycling and hard work can change their lives.”  About The Cycle Effect:A 501(c)3 public charity whose mission is to enhance the lives of young women through mountain biking and to empower them through mentoring and education.
