Pedals & Possibilities
You're invited to join The Cycle Effect for an evening of connection in Steamboat Springs!
HLL CLMB at SBT GRVL
It’s a “race,” but it’s mostly a wild and silly costume contest for community members to have fun and raise money for The Cycle Effect! As part of SBT GRVL, the HLL CLMB is open to anyone who wants to compete. With a le mans start and a truly grueling hill climb at Howelson Hill, it’s an absolute blast to participate in or spectate.
The best part is that we’re an advocacy partner with SBT GRVL, and proceeds from this event benefit The Cycle Effect.
Spots for HLL CLMBRS are limited to 200, and last year sold out. Register now and we’ll see you in Steamboat Springs!

WHY THE CYCLE EFFECT?
We're thrilled to empower young women at The Cycle Effect through mentorship and mountain biking in Mesa County. The Cycle Effect prioritizes serving young women who identify as Latina and/or BIPOC, are low-income and/or have risk factors. Mesa County's participants currently average 11 risk factors each! The Cycle Effect eliminates barriers to access by providing every participant with transportation, a mountain bike, helmet, bilingual programming and highly subsidized programming with scholarship available.
Pretty awesome, eh? We think so too.
