Press Release: Vail Valley Partnership Names The Cycle Effect As A Finalist For The Annual Success Awards “Small Nonprofit of the Year”
The Cycle Effect Selected As Finalist For Vail Valley Partnership’s Annual Success AwardsEDWARDS, Colo., April 1, 2015 -- After an extremely successful year in 2014, The Cycle Effect has been selected as a finalist for Vail Valley Partnership’s Annual Success Awards. These awards are given to businesses in the Vail Valley that have excelled over the past year, and recognizes their hard work and dedication to the valley. The Cycle Effect’s mission is to empower young women through mountain biking to achieve brighter futures and build stronger communities. Sharing the finalist seat with The Cycle Effect are: The Education Foundation of Eagle County, who aim to maintain an excellent learning experience in the Eagle County, and Starting Hearts, whose mission it is to save the lives of Sudden Cardiac Arrest victims by providing education and reducing time in which emergency medical assistance is received.“We are extremely pleased to be nominated and selected as a finalist in this impressive category,” said Executive Director and Founder of The Cycle Effect, Brett Donelson. “We cannot be more excited about the success of our young girls and how the community has supported us.”Winners are chosen by the Selection Committee that is comprised of the businesses and individuals who won last year. Previous winners in the “Small Nonprofit of the Year” category are: Eagle River Watershed Council, and Eagle Valley Land Trusts. The winners from each of the 10 categories will be announced on May 15th at the Eagle Vail Pavilion, during the 12th Annual Success Awards Luncheon.
