Coach Profile: Anne St. Clair

Read on to learn more about why Anne is a perfect fit to coach our young women!Anne, originally a Pennsylvania native, migrated west on a cross-country road cycling adventure--eventually landing in Breckenridge, Colorado in 2006.Her love of bike-touring and her first mountain bike ride in Moab launched her head over heels into a decade-long career as a mountain bike guide based out of Moab, UT. Having guided over 100 multi-day bike tours across the western U.S., Anne's greatest joy has been in sharing the stoke for riding trails whether in bloom, after a desert downpour, or with golden aspens. As an IMBA certified instructor with Magpie Cycling, she appreciates the privilege to help her client's improve technical riding techniques and to foster personalized and positive riding experiences.Anne is still regularly moving back and forth between her two favorite riding destinations: Breckenridge, CO and Moab, UT. She also works as a coach for the kids of Maverick Sports Promotions Mountain Bike Junior League and for the women of VIDA MTB clinics. During the winter months, she teaches avalanche education as an AIARE certified instructor for the Backcountry Babes and works as a lead guide for Powder Addiction cat-skiing.Anne is grateful to have been introduced to the sport of mountain biking and is even more inspired to help pay it forward through her involvement with The Cycle Effect. She is excited to see the young women of The Cycle Effect making waves.Anne is a Cancer, her spirit animal is a buffalo, and her favorite breakfast is huevos rancheros.
