toyota everyday heroes award

Our founders were thrilled and honored to be recognized as Toyota Everyday Heroes last week at the espnW Women + Sports Summit in Ojai, California.

The Cycle Effect co-founders, Tam and Brett Donelson, got to share the stage with intrepid change-makers like @themoxieleague_'s Morgan Crawford, ESPN's @juliefoudy and Olympic medalist @alisepost11. They got to meet individuals, brands and organizations driving women's sports forward, and left feeling more energized and committed than ever to empowering girls and women through mountain biking.

Tam said that while the award and accompanying $15,000 grant validates The Cycle Effect's work, the most important part is sharing the organization's stories and impact with a wider audience. It gives us a national platform to talk about the incredible volunteers, coaches and most importantly the participants, who demonstrate courage, compassion and growth in ways that inspire us every day. ✨

We share this award with ALL of you. To our Cycle Effect community - we're endlessly grateful. Thank you.
