Welcome Andy Littman

pic-AndrewLittmanPlease help us in welcoming Andrew Littman to our Board of Directors! Andy brings a great passion to the youth of the Vail Valley and we are excited to have him. We asked Andy why the mission of The Cycle Effect was important to him and he replied,"Every man, woman, and child  should have the opportunity to realize his/her  full potential; opportunities don’t just happen, you create them. Our Valley is composed of a two-tier society – the well-off and those with limited financial resources – the latter being disproportionally Latino.  We need to build opportunities for ALL to succeed and realize their full potential. The Cycle Effect levels the playing field  by providing opportunity to those historically deprived of an equal chance to succeed and grow skills; kids who embrace this opportunity will thrive and prosper in all aspects of life."Andy's family has resided in Eagle County and Boulder for the last 36 years.  He is a dad of three:  Juli who is a current VMS English teacher, Laura who is currently practicing law in the technology/corporate sector, and Peter who is a 9th grader at VMS. Andy's wife, Tina, is on the board of the Eagle Valley Land Trust Board and is the Boulder County Open Space Land Planner. Andy and all three dogs – Miles, Ella, Louie – spend every free moment in back-country on whatever means of non-motorized transportation is available!
